Phim Hoàng Tử Bé - The Little Prince 2015: Đã bảy mươi năm trôi qua từ lần xuất bản đầu tiên, tác phẩm của Antoine de Saint-Exupéry vẫn là cuốn sách gối đầu giường yêu thích của cả trẻ em và người lớn. Và một tác phẩm lớn như vậy không sớm thì muộn cũng sẽ được đưa lên màn ảnh rộng. May mắn thay, có vẻ như dự án lần này sẽ tụ hội những con người tài năng thực sự để biến ước mơ thành sự thật.

Đạo diễn Mark Osbourne (tác giả của Kungfu Panda) đã được chỉ định làm đạo diễn cho bộ phim hoạt hình chuyển thể từ câu chuyện “Hoàng tử bé”, và ông cũng đang tiến hành lên danh sách diễn viên lồng tiếng cho phim.

Các gương mặt trong tầm ngắm là Jeff Bridges, James Franco, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Benicio del Toro, Paul Giamatti, Paul Rudd, và Mackenzie Foy (đóng trong Breaking Dawn). Với những ai chưa từng đọc “Hoàng tử bé”, phim sẽ tái hiện lại bằng hình ảnh câu chuyện dễ thương được kể bởi một chàng phi công gặp tai nạn máy bay và phải hạ cánh xuống sa mạc Sahara. Anh hội ngộ với một cậu bé kỳ lạ người tự xưng mình là hoàng tử đã rớt xuống đây từ một hành tinh nhỏ.

Trong những ngày sau đó, ‘hoàng tử bé’ kể cho chàng phi công nghe những câu chuyện truyền kỳ về hành tinh quê nhà và chuyến chu du xuyên vũ trụ của mình...Tin từ Hollywood Reporter cho biết Jeff Bridges sẽ lồng tiếng chàng phi công. Các vai nam khác vẫn chưa được tiết lộ. “Hoàng tử bé” đã được chuyển thể thành phim, kịch, và các tác phẩm khác rất nhiều lần trong vòng nhiều thập kỷ qua.

Trong số đó có một phim nhạc kịch người đóng đạo diễn bởi Stanley Donen vào năm 1974, một loạt phim hoạt hình Nhật Bản vào thập niên 70 và gần đây nhất là một series phim truyền hình của Pháp đã lên sóng từ năm 2010. Ngày phát hành chính thức của “Hoàng tử bé” phiên bản hoạt hình lần này chưa được công bố, nhưng theo tin từ Coming Soon thì phim chắc chắn sẽ ra rạp với định dạng 3D vào năm tới.
